Bill of fare for Sunday, 13th April

13 April 2008 by K, No Comments

Breakfast:

Mini croissants, with butter and seville orange marmalade.

Brunch:

Evidently the mini croissants at breakfast were too mini, so I had to give in at 11am and stuff myself with two pieces of toast with peanut butter.

Lunch:

Had some of the family round, so just a spread of various salads, ham, sausages and sausage rolls. You can probably tell it wasn’t a Bar Mitzvah.

Dinner:

After having such a late, grazing kind of lunch, dinner was taken very late and consisted of a bowl of noodles.

Bill of fare for Thursday, 27th March

A very bad day for food, today.

Breakfast:

Cold croissant, that had been in the oven and left to cool so that it had an unpleasant crustiness about it.

Lunch:

Oh dear. KFC Zinger Tower burger, chips and 3 hot wings.

Dinner:

P wasn’t supposed to be in tonight, but she came home unexpectedly early. That didn’t stop us eating poorly, however: Waitrose sausage and onion pizza (the base had far too much crunch and not enough chew), with Pizza Express dough balls.

Breakfast:

Croissant with Seville orange marmalade. Green tea.

Lunch:

Demae ramen noodles (sesame flavour) with some pork luncheon meat. Bad, so very bad.

Dinner:

Tacos. The crispy type, not the lovely soft stuff I first tasted in San Francisco last year.

Bill of fare for Wednesday, 19th March

I’m currently writing this with a stomach that feels like it isn’t digesting my dinner, so I may yet get to see it again some time soon…

Breakfast:

Croissant, with butter and seville orange marmalade.

Lunch:

Had a lunchtime meeting so had to nip to the local sandwich shop to get an egg mayonnaise and bacon baguette. Whilst I can’t fault the undoubted quality of the bacon, I think it’s a mistake pairing such a sweet-cure bacon with egg mayo. I was bad and had some M&S sour cream and jalapeno crisps, but balanced it out with a banana and an apple.

Dinner:

Spag bol, cooked by P. Tasted lovely, but it’s clearly sitting heavily in my stomach. Might be in for a rough night praying to the porcelain god.
