Bill of fare for Saturday, 19th April
Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs and (cold) ham. Distinct lack of carbohydrates available this morning, so I whipped up some eggs.
Lunch:
Covent Garden Co. chicken soup, with a ham baguette.
Dinner:
Home-made burgers (made simply with minced beef and a pinch of salt) and potato wedges (McCain, not home-made).
Bill of fare for Wednesday, 16th April
Breakfast:
P was unwell, so it was up to me to sort out A’s breakfast. I managed to grab a marmite bagel and a half, in between serving little madam.
Lunch:
A chicken, lettuce and tomato poppy-seeded baguette from posh bakery Paul. It was a strange feeling having to venture out to get lunch and pay for it with cash.
Dinner:
Noodles with some leftover chicken slices from Sunday’s festivities.
Bill of fare for Saturday, 12th April
Breakfast:
Toast with ham. Not a million miles away from the hotel breakfasts this week, but it’s still good to be home.
Lunch:
Thai-spiced fishcakes from a recently refurbished pub called The Inn on the Pond. Also ate the remains of A’s ham and cheddar baguette, along with her chips and some token salad. My review on Qype
Dinner:
Red chicken curry, made by P.
Bill of fare for Thursday, 3rd April
Breakfast:
Two slices of toast with marmite. Then a couple of egg mayonnaise and bacon baguettes from Pret A Manger (delivered to work as part of a bulk order for a course I was helping to organise).
Lunch:
Singapore noodles from Miso Noodle Bar.
Dinner:
Oops, succumbed to the KFC monster again, because the kitchen was covered in flowers (P is sorting out a wedding tomorrow). Had a zinger burger with chips and a few hot wings.
Bill of fare for Tuesday, 1st April
Breakfast:
A soggy hot cross bun at home, then various pastries at work.
Lunch:
Tepid meat-feast pizza (leftovers from a meeting), and a couple of half-baguettes (one containing chicken and bacon, t’other containing ham and egg mayonnaise).
Dinner:
I’m helping run an induction course this week, and tonight we set up a drinks and food buffet for everyone (since we had a lot of people travelling from outside the UK), so I pigged out mainly on sushi, and then some cheesecake.
